Hi i see this is quite a new site but i have just bought a property and looking at doing a lot of the work myself. So i may need quite a lot of advice.
I have a glass panel down the side of my door and i was wondering is it possible to paint it rather than replacing it? To replace will cost me too much money nd at the moment everyone can see into my hallway.
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Trying.
In answer to your question ....yes you can paint glass quite easily.
There is a product on the market that i use regulary called ESP (easy surface prep). You can apply it with a brush, roller or a rag. It acts a primer on non porous materials ie. metals, glass, porcelane, melamine surfaces. Just apply with a rag and ensure the whole area is completely coated then wait for it to dry fully....normally about 2hrs.
Then decide what paint your going to use, you can use oil based paints or water based paints on top with no problems.
Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions.

A great painting and decorating contractor will offer you a quote, clarify what is included and give you an estimated timescale for completion.
